Let's Get PERSONAL: Four Personalized Gift Ideas for Christmas

Happy first of December everyone! It's the moment of rush Christmas shopping and gift wrapping right? But just in case you have not finished your Christmas list yet, I compiled personalized gift ideas you might find unique and interesting to give this season.

Gift giving for me is really a challenge. I love to give gifts that are meaningful, functional, and personalized. I'd like to think that it adds more special touch to the gift. I also like receiving gifts that shows my personality or that the giver thought of me while buying the gift.

Here are some available personalized gifts you can give this season to surprise your loved ones.

Look It's About Me

Look It's About Me offers story books where your child is the main character. They have a wide range of stories for boys and girls ranging from birthday story to being a big brother or sister. Aside from the books they have other personalized gifts you can choose from like coloring books, wrapping paper, notebooks, placemats among others.:)

These books would definitely motivate our little ones to read more often and it will enhance their love for books too. It would definitely create lasting memories and provide years of enjoyment for the whole family.

They accept payments through Paypal, bank deposit or credit cards and ship worldwide.

Personalized Baby Videos

I want this personally for my little boy. He enjoys watching Baby TV's episode where they show faces of baby dancing and singing to nursery rhymes.

Isn't that cute? The photo is taken from Personalized Baby Videos - Educational Videos
Official Facebook Page
Your baby can appear in 12 educational videos. They also have different packages that will suit your budget. This is a nice idea where our little ones would feel more special because they learn from the videos where they are main characters. It also will last long and will be a time capsule for when they grow older. It's kinda cute finding your baby self when you're all grown up right?:)

Joyceski's Biz Faithshoppe

I first learned of Joyceski's Biz Faithshoppe through the Mommy Bloggers Philippines Halloween Party last November. It was a set of magnet and keychain plus the button we had for the Committee button. What impressed me about the products was that it was neat and its packaging. The magnet and keychain were placed in a small ziplock.
They do different personalized items ranging from business cards, key chains, and other giveaways. They do religious products and they have a physical store at SANTISIMO ROSARIO PARISH (USTCHURCH); and Word & Life Publications, Makati. You can go to her official FB page in the link posted above.

Urban Baby Clothing

We availed of their products last year for our Christmas family terno. They customize shirts and onesies for babies.  They can personalize each shirts to your family's liking or they also have specific templates you can choose from. We also had a very smooth transaction with them and the products arrived in time for our Christmas

For me, there is an art of gift giving. It's important that our gifts are well thought out and not the usual gifts like mugs, handkerchiefs, etc. These gifts will definitely make them a lot more special and will last a long time. After all , that's the spirit of Christmas right? Showing how we value and love our loved ones through the gifts that we give them. So the next time you would want to give a personalized gift, please consider these four stores!:)

Happy Shopping! Merry Christmas!:)

Kids Craze Warehouse Sale: Making Christmas Shopping Easy!

Hello my lovely readers! Today has been a productive day from gift shopping to cleaning our soon-to-be home. Anyway, here's one warehouse sale I would like to share with you all. It would definitely make your christmas shopping easy as pie hihi!

Okay, so I learned from Mommy Glaiza Tominio of www.moomymusings.com about KIDS CRAZE WAREHOUSE SALE in Quezon City.(Thank you Ms. Glaiza) :)It was perfect timing because we were at my sister's house babysitting her son so we decided to take a look at the sale.

As soon as the elevator opened at the 9th floor of RGI Corporate Center, I knew I was in Toy heaven. I could imagine being a kid and seeing those toys, I'd definitely go gaga! :)

Anyway, here's what we saw at the Kids Craze Warehouse Sale earlier.

The warehouse sale offers a wide variety of branded toys, apparel and shoes. From infant toys, high chairs, to barbie dolls,  cars and planes. Every child would surely go home with a big smile on their faces. They have toys that are on sale but the boxes are already damaged or other items that are not working. There are also items that are brand new and are discounted about 20 - 50% off. Price range go as low as Php40.00 to as high as Php3,500 but all everything is discounted so its still cheaper compared to the mall. Aside fromtoys they also have clothes for boys and girls to pre-teens. A big space at the back of the warehouse is for shoes. You just have to rummaged through it.

Tips in shopping in the Kids Craze Warehouse Sale:
  • Take your time to look around the place. It will help you scan thru the toys and find quality and inexpensive deals.
  • Ask for a plastic bag in the cashier to put in your selected items. They don't have shopping baskets and it will be hard for you to just hold it with your hands. You can just put everything in your bags and sort through it after.
  • Check items carefully. Check the boxes and the items if its working so you would get your money's worth. :)
  • Bring your Santa's list. Hihi. There surely be items that will fit any child you'd want to give a gift to.

Ps. You can bring your kids in the warehouse because it's airconditioned and is spacious.
If you have any questions, just comment below and I will get back to you!!!:)

November Fever: Christmas Bazaars to Look Forward this Month!

Times fly so fast, sometimes too fast right? Hello, my readers! Lets all say hello to November!:) It is only 44 days till Christmas, so better start your Christmas shopping now.  As a mom, I start Christmas shopping as early as September so I don't join with the Christmas rush. It also gives me more time to think about gifts I'd like to give my loved ones. Going to bazaars is one of my remedies in Christmas shopping because you can almost buy anything from kids' toys to adult clothing to home decors or needs. So here is a list of bazaars to watch out for and visit to complete your shopping!:)

Super Sale Bazaar

Happening at the World Trade Center on November 7 to 9 from 11AM to 10PM. I actually go there every year and I'd say its a haven for all fashionistas. They have a wide variety of products from make ups to clothes to anything you can imagine. What I also love about this bazaar are the owners or the bazaaristas ( if that's how they are called) because almost all dress fashionably and are very entertaining. A lot of online shops also join this bazaar so just in case you have an online store you've been eyeing for see if they are part of this. :)

Mommy Mundo Expo: A Pre-Christmas Shopping Bazaar for Chic Shopping Moms

Happening on November 7 to 9 at Glorietta Activity Center, is one of the bazaars I am actually crossing my fingers to be able to visit this bazaar this year because we will have our retreat in school on the same date. Hopefully, I could visit on the 9th before heading home and spend "pasyal" time with hubby and baby too!:)

For Mommy Mundo Passport Holders, this is also the chance for you to avail of your complimentary Mom 24/7 Planner. You can also check out their site to find out how you can win Php3,000 shopping spree here: http://mommymundo.com/2014/10/mommy-mundo-bazaar-2014/

The Great All Out Sale

Big discounts from different brands on November 8 to 9 at Metrotent, Meralco Avenue Ortigas Center.
The Great All-Out Sale

Noel Bazaar

Noel Bazaar will happen in World Trade Center from November 14 to 30 so make your lists ready and head on there and score some quality-but-not-so-expensive gifts. Been there for three straight years and I never go home disappointed!:)

The Urban Food Collective

If you are in the down south there's a weekend market going on since October and will last until December at Commerce Center, Alabang. I have seen some photos from this event and the products are interesting. Sadly, it's too far from us. huhuh

Bazaar for All Seasons 8

Happening at the Elements, Eton Centris on November 21-23 from 11AM to 9PM. If you love Kawaii stuff or a fan of Laureen and Liz Uy, then this is a bazaar you should not miss out on. The Uy sisters will be there to sell their pre-loved items. Entrance fee if Php100.

Babypalooza Bazaar

Another re-run of the Babypalooza Bazaar on November 29 at the Walter Hogan Center, Ateneo and is FREE of entrance. They also have play, breastfeeding and diaper change areas so all family members could enjoy!

I hope this list will be helpful for you! Enjoy the Christmas gift shopping!:) If you know any other bazaars please let me know too, thanks!:)

Tips on Christmas Shopping for Kids

Christmas season is truly made for children. It's the time of the year where they get to dress up, give gifts, receive gifts, see their cousins and other relatives, go some place they've never been, and just be happy. Christmas, however, for adults is a different story. It's the time of the year when Mom's especially get busy buying gifts for everyone, shopping for kid's Christmas clothes, prepping for Noche Buena and Media Noche and making sure the house is clean for reunions and all that.

So, as a first time mom, I got somewhat busy with some of those things I mentioned. One of which was buying gifts. This year, as a new family, my husband and I decided will only spend gifts to children and not our adult friends anymore. It was because as a starting family, we needed to save a little money but didnt want to not be able to give gifts this season. It was not as easy as we had so many nieces, nephews, and inaanak. Though it was hard, I'd say I enjoy shopping for others and giving gifts that I think they would enjoy.

So here are some tips on Christmas shopping and some gifts that are fun and educational at the same time.

TIP #1: Make a list of everyone.
This is a MUST. It makes the whole chaotic christmas shopping a little less chaotic. With the list on hand, you have a pretty good idea of how many gifts you need to buy for girls and boys. It's also best that you write down their ages so you're gifts would be appropriate. Have you ever had that experience wherein you're gift is no longer useful to someone. It is in some way shameful because obviously you don't know the kid and it's also a waste of money.

TIP #2. Think ahead of time
After writing your list, its important that you think ahead of shopping. What I mean here is to plan the gifts you want to buy. This makes it easier for you to navigate the malls for stuff you would need. It will also prevent you from implusively buying the first thing you see in the stores. I am the type of person who would give a thought to a gift, because it feels like I know the person very well and that I want the gift to be meaningful. Also, it's very important for me that the gift will suit the receiver and that he or she will be happy receiving it.

TIP #3. Start early.
If you already have a list, and an idea of gifts you would like to give then start shopping earlier than usual. You can start shopping as soon as the BER months are in. It will give you enough time to think about the gift, plan your budget and spend more time doing other important things when Christmas season comes.

TIP #4: Look for on sale items.
Its not bad manners to buy on sale items as gifts as long as it's appropriate and in my opinion useful. I'm not a fan of gifts that are only for display especially if you're going to give it to kids. What is more important is the function and if the gift will last. There are so many items like that such as puzzles, DIY stuff, and writing materials. Gifts need not be too expensive but it should serve a purpose.

TIP #5. Focus on your list.
Yes, its very easy to get distracted and stray away from the budget while in the malls. So being focus and finishing your list first will give you more time to stroll in the mall and enjoy yourself.

TIP #6. Enjoy the experience.
Any situation is enjoyed becomes a memory worth treasuring. The fulfillment we see everytime a kid opens his or her gift is the true essence of Christmas. So whether you have a big budget or not, always enjoy gift giving and Christmas shopping.

So, there you go, my six tips on shopping this season! Enjoy and have a blessed Christmas season!:)
