Crayola: Creating Art for Every Age

Art is an instant fun for every child. It widens a child's imagination and creativity with every stroke of colors. I remember my childhood time spent on coloring and using Crayola products. My mom used to buy me coloring books and  a box of Crayola made it even more exciting.

Now that my little baby is growing into a very curious learner, I started introducing him to crayons at 18months. Although he could not grip the crayons just yet, I can see his excitement everytime I'll tell him it is coloring time.

Luckily for him, we got Crayola's My First Washable Markers at an Ogalala event, so he has new tools to explore again.

Last Tuesday, I decided to let him tey hia new tools and he had countless hours of enjoyment using it.

The size of the markers is just right to teach toddlers how to grip a pen. It is very easy to hold but its barrel like shape makes it hard to roll so it stays on the table. The broad nib is also great in creating big, bold marks which toddlers can easily recognize. Watching Enzo use it is amazing as he also learns fine motor skills of putting and removing the cap of the markers.

To start using the markers, press the marker tip down against paper until the inkbegins to flow. During use, continue to press tip down as needed to release ink.
And did I say its washable? Now we moms son't need to worry that much right? Our kids can unleash their Picasso talent and draw their lives away in any age!;)

Thank You, Well Worth Philippines!

Well Worth Philippines is new shopping destination in Fairview Terraces, Quezon City. It is a department store suited for all family members because they offer wide variety of products. It offers convenience and a fun-filled shopping experience. Well worth Philippines also sponsored the Mommy Bloggers Philippines Halloween Party and I got these stuff from them. Thank you so much, Well Worth Philippines!

The bag contains a backpack, a cute coin purse and Crayola

I love the Princess coin purse. I attached the Mommy Bloggers keychain too so I love it even more. The coin purse is soft to the touch and the color combination is a favorite of mine.

We road tested the backpack already every time we travel for baby's essential. It can fit a lot of things like his bottles, spare clothes, diapers, and even his snacks too. For the Crayola, I am saving for him to use when he can already.

Thank you again Well Worth Philippines and hoping to visit you soon.

Part 2: Gift Ideas for Kids 0 -1 year old below Php1000

Okay, hi readers! Sorry it took so long for me to write the second part of my Christmas gift ideas for kids below 0 to 1 year old. Been busy with work lately that I was not able to post this right now. Anyway here's the second part of my Christmas gift ideas, or any occasion for that matter. hihi!!

This is the second sequal to my christmas ideas and it's all about baby/toddler utensils. Feeding our babies will start as early as 6 months. So its a really a good investment to buy quality products because it will be used for a longer period of time and to also ensure our children's safety. Food handling and hygiene should be our first priority as parents. Here are some gift ideas you can buy:

1. AVENT Feeding bottle - Of course, this is if the baby is in formula feeding. Avent brand is really one of the products that are of quality. For breastfeeding moms, there are also quality brands you can choose if you want to bottle feed your babies.

2. Teethers - I consider these as part of baby utensils because its something to do with itchy gums. There are a lot of teethers but choose to buy those that can be placed in the refrigerator to chill it. It will give better relief to your baby's gums.

3.  Bowls and plates - When buying baby and kid bowls and plates, I'd suggest you go for those with covers both the bowl/plates and the spoon and fork. It will easier to store food and take it to travelling. Be sure to also check the plastic codes on the utensils to ensure that its safe for your babies and kids. Here's a basic guide to plastics that you can read on: http://healthychild.org/easy-steps/know-your-plastics/

4. Plastic containers - When my baby started eating I bought plastic containers for food preparation and storage. This will make it easier to store in the refrigerator and ensures food sanitation as well. You can also use these containers when traveling until your kid grows up.

5. Bottle and Nipple Drying Rack - It makes drying and cleaning bottles, nipples, and toys easier using this. When buying a drying rack make sure to consider the stability and its size. Make sure that the rack is stable enough for your bottles and toys but not so big or small in built so it wont be difficult to keep.

So for now, these are the utensils needs you can buy as gifts to your kids, nieces, nephews that they could really use for a longer period of time. Read on for my next gift ideas!:)
