VitaCubes: The Healthier Alternative this Halloween

Halloween is slowly becoming a popular celebration for Filipinos. Aside from the traditional visit to the cemeteries to remember departed loved ones, families are now putting more effort and time to celebrate the Halloween. Parents create the best costumes for their children, while children has one day to be their favorite character or to be someone from their imagination.

Trick or Treat makes the celebration more complete. Children gets excited to get their treats which are usually composed of candies, lollipops, chocolates, and other sugary treats. It is heaven for children but not for Moms like me! 

I prefer Enzo to not get used to too much candies especially the hard ones. He has good set of teeth and we try to protect it by not giving him too much candies. Also, I don't want him to get used to sweets for I worry he might be turned into a picky eater. But, I also don't want to spoil the Halloween for him so I found a healthier, and yummier alternative for trick or treatin this year. 

Introducing Vita Cubes are jelly shaped candies fortified with Vitamin A,B,C, and E, Lysine, and Zinc. More Fun Days with Vitacubes: A Jelly Candy Made Healthy

Rebisco launched their new jelly candy, Vita Cubes, last August 2, 2015 at Fun Ranch, Pasig. It was a day filled with laughter, fun, dancing, and lots of yummy healthy candy. We were fortunate to get invited with other Mommy Bloggers so it was both fun for the kids and the mommies too!:)

 

 

Got the chance to take photos in the stage just before the event started. Perks of coming to the event early hihi!:) Enzo also had more time to play at the Playdium because we were there earlier and it meant more fun for the little boy. Thanks Daddy for accompanying Enzo at the Playdium.

The event started with some dance contest for the kids which really pumped up everyone's energy even the mommies. All the children danced their hearts out and were having fun with each other. Then games were also played with other moms, followed by a magic show. The show was really entertaining and amazing to watch but what made everyone shriek was the snake that came out of the box held by Mommy Shari! It was a surprise for everyone in the venue.

Vitamin E - Supplies 45% of the child’s RENI. Boosts the immune system and helps the body fight germs. Keeps blood vessels open wide enough for blood to flow freely. Helps the cells of the body work together to perform many important functions.

 

Now there is an alternative for us parents to candies with just pure sugar in it. With VitaCubes we can give them a once in a while treat with no guilt because it has vitamins and minerals in it. But just as any candy/candies are, parents should still be cautious in giving too much to our children. As with little Enzo, he enjoys his treats every once in a while and I am assured that atleast he gets different vitamins and minerals from it. I even have my own pack in bag as baon to school and work.
