As the year comes to a near end, I will soon add another year to my age. It is a bittersweet celebration because as I become wiser and better, I also acquire more wrinkles and age on my skin. Aging of the skin although cannot be avoided can very well be prevented or delayed.

ATC Grape Seed Oil also helps in providing relief against pain and swelling cause by conditions like rheumatoid arthritis because of its anti-inflammatory products and contains proanthocyanidins, which are very potent antioxidants that help in diminishing the sun's damaging effects and lessen free radical damage.

However, ATC Grape Seed Oil is not a medicinal drug and should not be used to treat the symptoms of any disease.

My Dream Princess Prom Dresses

I never had a chance to attend a prom in my high school. Coming from an exclusive girls school, it was not something our teachers pushed thru to have. Maybe it was because they assume we don't know any boys at all ( which is true) or they just did not want the work accompanied with it. I think its the lack of boys! Haha!;)

So whenever I hear stories of prom nights and dresses, I can't help imagining what I would wear. Hopefully, I can hve a daughter and put all my fustrations on her! Haha! Just kidding! But if given the chance to be in a prom and wear a dress, I have my dream prom dress design all set and ready.

I imagine it being in pastel colors of either purple, pink, or blue. It should be in a flowy textile and one that would flaunt my figure. But still keeping it conservative and comfortable to wear. I imagine me looking like a pretty princess ready to take on the world.

Such amazing dresses right? It can turn anyone into a princess once worn. But here's my favorite:

The color is vibrant and the design are well detailed and beaded. I like how it is sexy but subtle, playful and ladylike, and unique.

All dresses can be seen and bought in Miss Dress Shop UK. They have tons of prom dress collection fit for everyone. You can check out more of their collections here: http://www.missdressshop.co.uk/prom-dress-c-77/ All dresses can be seen and bought in Miss Dress Shop UK. They have tons of prom dress collection fit for everyone. The dresses are also well made and designs are from traditional to one-of-a-kind. I am sure any girl's princess dream gown can be seen here. Now every Princess dream can be a dream come true.

How about you, what is your dream Prom dress?

REGROE: The Effective Hair Grower

I have a very thin and brittle hair. It actually runs in the family. What makes my hair even more hars to manage is its being frizzy. I also have a problem of hair fall after a bunch of hair treatment like relax, straigthening, rebonding, perming, and coloring. The hair fall even double after pregnancy so it's really an effort for me to make sure I solve my hair growth problems.

But did you know that losing your hair is perfectly normal - we shed up to 100 hairs a day - but for some people hair loss is much more serious and it's affecting a growing number of men and women under 40. The most  common type of hair loss can be triggered by life changing events such as stress, a bereavement or pregnancy, leading to overall thinning of the hair. If you've noticed gradual thinning or found clumps of hair on the bathroom floor it can come as a shock. But don't panic because Minoxidil Regroe is the answer for all your hair concerns.

The growth of each hair follicle normally occurs in a cycle. The three main phases of the hair growth cycle are anagen, catagen, and telogen.

Anagen is the active growth phase when hairfiber is produced.  Catagen is the transitional stage when hair growth stops. The hair remains attached to the root of the follicle. While Telogen is the resting stage when the shedding occurs.
When used regularly, Regroe works in three ways. It prevents hair fall because Regroe prevents the production of Dihydrotestosterone which is the hormone responsible for hair thinning and falling. It also stimulates hair matrix cells. Regroe directly stimulates the small hair matrix cells to continuously divide and multiply in order to produce longer and thicker hair. And lastly, Regroe improves circulation and nutrition. It dilates and increases the size of smaller blood vessels around the follicles, improving blood flow and oxygenation for better nutrition of the follicles.

The main ingredient of Regroe is Minoxidil, Minoxidil is a potent solution derived from extensive medical research and medical testing. It is the only clinically proven solution to prevent hair loss approved by both US-FDA and the Philippine BFAD. Minoxidil works by stopping excessive hair falling and stimulates hair re-growth. Hair growth requires constant stimulation and optimal delivery of oxygen and nutrients from the circulatory system to the hair follicle. Without these processes, your hair may lack the maximum fullness, strength and the vibrancy you want.

Minoxidil Regroe is available in 3 variants. 3%, 5% and the 6%. 3% is for mild hair loss, 5% is for moderate hair loss and recommended for first time users and 6% is for severe hair loss.  Minoxidil Regroe is available in all leading drugstores nationwide. For more information, check Regroe’s facebook page or call 818-11-31.

REDOXFAT: Holiday Weight Gain

Next week is already the beginning of the last month of year 2015. As for me, I have five consecutive Christmas parties to attend, a family vacation the following week, then some reunions with friends later in the month.
Aside from the holiday gifts, stories to share, and places to visit, one other thing that thrills and makes me giddy are food feasts. I especially enjoy sharing food feasts with my loved ones because I get to spend stories, conversations, and laughter over delicious meals.

But, with a lot of food feast means more weight gain. Eversince I became a mom, I had gained a few pounds and fats on my body so I put effort on keeping myself  atleast a little slimmer.

Though I worry about some pounds added on my weight, I still enjoy the Holiday feasts. The enjoyment and guilt-free feeling I have is because of RedoXfat!

RedoXfat is a weight-loss food supplement which contains 350 mg of Green Tea Extract and 150 mg of L-Carnitine. RedoXfat’s component, L-Carnitine, is known to be effective in weight loss as it transforms the fatty acids in the body into sources of energy, thereby fueling you enough for the day. Meanwhile, RedoXfat is also equipped with Green Tea Extract which, aside from its fat-burning quality, it is also known to be an effective antioxidant as it is 200x more potent than Vitamin E in fighting free radicals in the body.

RedoXfat lowers (fats) and helps increase energy which results to burning fat fast for speedier results. RedoXfat also helps in strengthening our muscles for easier physical activities, cleansing and detoxifying our body, reducing stress levels, boosting of our immune system, and improves digestion.

RedoXfat is SRP P16.00 per capsule, available at Mercury Drug and other leading drugstores nationwide. Slim down, chin up with RedoXfat.

City Color Nudes Swatches + First Impressions

Been searching for a nude palette eye shadow for a while now. I already used up my previous eye shadow so I was in scarcity for about a month already. I have an eye shadow palette but I can't bring it with me in my Kikay kit cause it's too big. I also have an OCD on finishing up my nudes so I don't always buy one.

Though I have been eyeing for my utlimate dream and my second ultimate dream nude palettes, I found a product that is handy, and is affordable. I really have to always think twice or even trice for my purchases nowadays so I am really glad  I got my hands on City Color Nudes Palette.

Here are my first impression on City Color Nudes Pallette:

The City Color Nudes Palette has twelve nude colors with combination of matte colors to shiny ones. It has four (4) light colors that can be used for base eye shadow and highlighting. Eight of the colors are from medium natural colors to dark ones. These are workable colors to have day make up to night makeup. Having nude palettes for your eyes is a must and necessary tool to have especially for beginners and for those who like natural and fresh make up.

I am excited to work on this palette as I am challenged to have as many different looks as I can just by using this one palette. So here's a swatch of the colors on paper so you'd really see the variety.

My First Impressions of the pall=ette is outstanding. I love the slimness of the palette because I can bring it anywhere. Not so bulky and can fit into my kikay kit. I also love the combination of colors, I can imagine the looks I can do with the light, medium, and dark colors. As of my first swatch, I'd say it is pigmented because I only had to put a little amount of the powder for the colors to pop out. My only reservation for now is that some of the shiny ones does not really stand out except for the gold one. I think it is really more on the matte side.

For now, I am satisfied with my purchase but I'd follow up this post with an FOTD so I can road test it.

If you'd like to have this palette from City Colors too, visit Ensogo Philippines and grab their promo now. It's easy shopping and less hassle with 3 days guaranteed delivery to your homes. AjiPanda Best Day Ever Press Conference with Kathryn Bernardo

If you have been watching the teleserye Pangako Sayo, then you definitely recognize Ina Macaspac as Kathryn Bernardo. Her character in the teleserye is that of a homegrown cook turned culinary expert. Of course, the story revolved around family past, love affairs, and pursuit of dreams. But as her character exudes happiness, determination, and natural freshness, so does her being a brand endorser for four years for Aji-No-Moto Umami seasoning.

In the presscon that happened yesterday, November 25, at Torre Venezia Suites in Quezon City, AjiPanda was launched as the icon of the product.

Ms. Roann L. Co, Marketing Head, explains how Aji-No-Moto has been part of the Filipino Families' life making every dish scrumptuous. She introduces AjiPanda as the Filipino Families' Best Friend in the Kitchen, helping everyone works wonders in their cooking to share many happy meals with the family.

It was followed by a very informative talk of Dr. Frances Tan, a medical doctor with specialization in General Pediatrics, and a subspecialty in Allergy and Immunology, on basic facts about umami and MSG or monosodium glutamate. She debunked the tongue map that was believed by many for a long time with a new study on the taste buds, each having the taste of sweet, salt, sour, and bitter. She also gave a short history of Umami and how it has become the 5th basic taste that allows people to enjoy the delicious taste in food.

MSG being a controversial part of food was also explained through Question and Answer portion participated by Ms Roann Co, Dr. Frances Tan, and Dr. Celeste Tanchoco. They clearly explained the components of MSG, specifically of glutamates and how it does not necessarily result to allergies. They presented the important role of glutamate in nutrition.

After the insightful part of the event, Ms. Kathryn Bernardo, graced everyone with her presence. Her renewal of contract as the brand endorser of Aji-No-Moto was the highlight of the afternoon.

She shares how Aji-No-Moto is reminiscent of her childhood with her family celebrating with home cooked meals. She also says she cooks for the familu as her time permits and her specialties are Pork Adobo and Beef Tapa. In as much as she enjoys cooking herself, she would love for the new generation of cooks to enjoy the joys of home-cooking with her new bestfriend in the kitchen- AjiPanda.

Yesterday, was really the best day ever with Aji-No-Moto and Ms. Kathryn Bernardo.

Movie Nights: Cheap and Fun Bonding Moments with Family

One of the many things we do as a family is Weekend Movie Nights. It happens every Friday and Saturday night in our little abode and we keep it as a family tradition. It is only in these days that we allow the little boy to have more than one hour of screen time of his favorite movie/cartoon. It is also the time when we watch newly downloaded past movies we have not watched yet. Of course, the movie should be something that interest the little man of the house.

But what is a Movie Night without snacks, right? The experience would not feel like a legit movie night if there are no popcorn, chips, and drinks. Yes, I let my little boy eat some chips during Movie Nights. (Please don't raise your eyebrows at me,okay?!) We let him have a small portion or opt for a healthier alternative for him like popcorn, peanuts, and biscuits. Soda is still a no-no Enzo so we just buy him his own juice. Anyway, Friday and Saturday nights is now something we look forward to besides it having to be the end of the workweek. It is a time for me to bond together and enjoy a movie we will all enjoy. But it is challenging at times to stock up on the movie paraphernalia like snacks and drinks. So for your last minute grocery shopping, head on to Ensogo Philippines and get your favorite snacks just in time for your movie dates.

Here are more deals and promos you can take advantage of:

No one says you need to spend a lot of money on family or couple dates right? I also suggest downloading the Ensogo App on your mobile for faster online shopping. Now there is no more excuse to not feel just like in the cinemas at home with Ensogo Philippines.

Find the Perfect Watch for Every Style

I rarely wear accessories. If I ever wear one it would be just my watch. For a while now, I have been using my Esprit Rose Gold watch. I also have my leather Guess watch and some silver watch I used for different occassions.

My everyday watch from Esprit.

I find it so easy to work with watches to match my style and it does not feel too much for me. I don't feel comfortable with too much accessories that is why I keep it a point to never forget to wear my watch. Here are some of the ways I wear my watches, depending on where I am going and what my mood is.

For Casual Days: If you're style is more on the simple and comfortable side, then you are a minimalist. Not too fancy but still elegant. My casual days include window shopping in the mall, doing errands, or just going to other places.

For Sporty/Adventure Days: I am a sporty and adventurous type of girl so I enjoy the outdoors and sports. When outdoors, a watch needs to be strong enough to weather temperature, and terrain. So a watch needs to be waterproof, and durable. If you are looking for a sports watch you may try G-Shock or Baby G brands.

For Formal Events: A watch can either make or break an outfit in a formal attire. It would either be too chunky for your long gowns or too loud for your cocktail dress. I actually have a difficulty in matching my long formal dresses with my watches. But in my wishlist are some thin bracelet type of watches that can be worn with long gowns.

So a watch is a practical and stylish accessories a person can wear to complete their look. It is an easy accessory which serves a purpose for everyone. But getting the right style for your personal style can be challenging at times. Luckily Ensogo Philippines answers our prayers.

Ensogo Philippines offers as part of their Philippine Online Shopping festival discounts and deals on different branded watches like Marc Jacobs, Casio, G Shock and more.

You can see some of their biggest deals on www.ensogo.com.ph under the category Fashion then Watches and Jewelries. Prices range from as low as Php800 to as high as Php18,000. You'd surely find what you are searching for minus he hassle of going to the malls.

Breast Cancer Awareness: Celebrate with Songs of Hope

It is such an unfortunate thing that more and more people are becoming victims of the big C or Cancer. It is alarming as well that it seems everyone can be hit by this illness. Personally, I have two relatives who had cancer, one of lung cancer and the other of breast cancer. Regardless of the kind of cancer, it is sad that people leave this world because of it. I remember crying over my aunt and uncle, because they were still very young, they have so much more to do in life.

But in any despair, there is hope. Advanced medical treatments are making it easier for more patients to survive Breast Cancer, but these methods are quite expensive. Because of this, most people cannot afford the procedure. External factors like the present economic state of the nation, the issue of inflation and taxes, or that they are either unemployed or are working for minimum wage or less are not helping things either. It is heartbreaking to know that many individuals choose to ignore Breast Cancer because they would rather use whatever money they have to feed their families or pay the bills.

It is through the efforts of other people who promote and advocate breast cancer awareness that patients and their families tries to get by. If you want to help in your own little way, you can start by supporting a joint project or Resorts World and Lyric Opera of the Philippines. Chino Toledo and the Grupo 20/21 Orchestra will join musical artists like Jose Mari Chan, Anica Ordan, Franco and Ayen Laurel and Ana Feleo in presenting a Christmas-themed concert where proceeds from the ticket sales will fund the chemotherapy for the patients. Each ticket you buy will send one Breast Cancer patient to that much needed medical treatment. The catch is that the project will only push through if at least 1,200 tickets have been sold.

The ticket prices are as follows:

Total Seats - Price

SVIP 267 -PHP 3,000
VIP 288- PHP 2,800
GOLD 280 -PHP 2,500
SILVER 439 -PHP 2,200
BRONZE 126 -PHP 2,000

Let us help in pushing thru with this concert and assist one Breast cancer another treatment that will give them another to live with their families and loved ones.

Buy and register your tickets at www.kasuso.org and if you may please use this code: CelebrateHope045 so they would know it is thru my blog that you knew of the event.

“Celebrate with Songs of Hope: A Christmas Fundraising Concert” will be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila on December 16, 2015. The event will start at 7:30pm as part of an ongoing campaign to fight Breast Cancer, a disease that has claimed thousands of lives over the years. The organizers aim to educate people about the symptoms of Breast Cancer, and what they can do to survive it. Each ticket you buy will send one Breast Cancer patient to much needed Chemotherapy Treatment.

Up&Up Cream is Now Here!

Encouraged by the success of Up&Up Skin Lifting Serum by Yuyu Healthcare Inc., Riantique Global Inc. CEO Ria Castrillo brings yet another effective beauty treatment to the Philippines: Up&Up Cream.

According to Castrillo, “the demand for an effective beauty treatment that specifically to keep the wrinkles from showing is relatively high.”

She said Up&Up Cream, adds to Filipinas’ options for a non-surgical skincare solution “that is both safe and easy on the pocket. Up&Up Cream is one product that you can trust to enhance beauty and restore youthful glow in an instant without the need for surgery.”

“Up&Up Cream has been clinically proven safe to use on all skin types by Sae Myung Herbal Biology Industrial Clinic in Korea,” Castrillo said. “This high-potency skin-firming concentrate quickly penetrates the skin’s surface to improve its elasticity. It visibly lifts skin, smoothes its surface, fills up wrinkles, reduces pore size and regenerates skin collagen and elastin. After application, results become visible in seconds. With continued use, skin retains its youthful glow.”

“Some women peak early, while others blossom later,” Castrillo noted. “All in all, we should be on a journey of continued growth and exploration. We have in control of our lives at 40. Up&Up is there to keep us confident where most of us are at the peak of attaining our greatest achievements in most areas of our lives, and where we can definitely enjoy the fruits of our labor.”

While several beauty products on the market do offer collagen and elastin among their ingredients, Up&Up Cream “is new and unique,” Castrillo said. “I haven’t seen any in the market which instantly improves your skin at watching with your own eyes. It has a unique packaging, in the shape of a syringe without the needle.”

Up&Up Cream “also contains arbutin and other healthy botanicals known to aid skin rejuvenation like adenosine, green tea extract, ade aluminum overrijissel sumip, trehalos, dynalift, chamomile extract, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera extract,” Castrillo said. “It is naturally made, to ensure that it is free from parabens, mineral oils, silicon, triethanolamine and artificial coloring.”

Model Marina Benipayo has tried Up&Up Cream and said in an interview that it “definitely felt like Up&UP Cream was starting to treat my face to an avalanche of vitamins to improve it.”

“During the second week, I noticed my face was clearer and younger-looking,” Benipayo said. “Now that I’ve been using Up&Up for a month straight, I noticed my skin is healthier and in much better condition.”

“My skin is definitely not the same as it was 20, 10 and five years ago,” Benipayo added. “But I’ve always believed that proper diet, the right kind of exercise, lifestyle and outlook in life are big contributors to feeling and looking young. At 47, I almost never get too exposed to the sun, I sleep and rest as much as I can and reserve it for only the most important things like family and work. I don’t take in alcohol and stay away from negative stresses. I’ve also been more picky with the products I use on my face.”

Based on her experience with the product, Benipayo said: “I think Up&Up Cream will give its competitors a run for their money. It’s an effective product, very suitable for Asian skin, and has absolutely no downtime at all. I can use it any time of the day—in the morning, evening, before I put on makeup. It’s an instant vitamin treatment for the face.”

Benipayo dispenses some sage advice, too. “Accept your age and take the best care of yourself that you can by following the basic needs of the skin and body: Proper skincare, diet and exercise.”

“I always knew that maintaining a level of beauty and confidence entails a lot of work and love for self,” she said. “Now that I have these Up&Up boosters, I know that my skincare regimen will be easier to maintain. I do not have to use other products like eye creams, skin-lifting serums and moisturizers: Up&Up can replace all of them now.”

Children's Playground at UN Avenue: A Hidden Gem for Families

Last Friday, we brought Enzo to see a new pedia in Aventus, UN avenue. After his short consultation, we decided to bring him to the near Children's playground just a stone throw away from Aventus. I have been in the Children's playground when I was still single. It was a perfect opportunity for us to bring Enzo.

It only cost PHP10.00 and has a wide space enough for families to enjoy the park and each other's company. The playground has a lot of slides, tunnels, and areas to go around in. It's also a great photo opportunity for children and families.

It is also allowed to bring in food inside so a picnic is suitable for it. The trees make it shady and windy so it really is relaxing. Just prepare some alcohol, wet wipes, and a change of clothes because the kids will surely get messy and dirty afterwards. I also encourage you to put on mosquito repellant as there might be threats there so it would be better to be on the safe side. Also take a close watch of your children while in the playground.

Sharing with you some of our photos from our quick visit:

Make Up Basics for the Busy Woman with Ensogo Philippines

As a working mom, I keep with myself basic makeup products that help me look fab and polished in minutes. I only have about six (6) steps in doing my makeup which takes about 10-15 minutes everday. I'm a no-makeup makeup person and all natural makeup kind of person. I like to to keep my face flawless, my eyebrows looking natural and my eyes just bright and awake. I also make my blush and lipstick just on the fresh side so I don't overwhelm my students while I teach. (Haha!;)

In choosing make up products I go for the easy, handy, and affordable ones. Something I can use for a long time and which can take me from day to night looks.

I do my make up before teaching and it stays for the rest of the day. As I have my mind on work already, my makeup is the least of my priorities so it is a good thing that I often only retouch my blush and lipstick within the day. I think most working moms would agree when I say putting on makeup should not take too much of our time.

Luckily, Ensogo Philippines offers a variety of makeup products in their site. It makes shoppinh easy for me because I don't have to go to the mall and buy my makeup basics. They carry alot of make up products from over-the-counter brands to luxury items.

For some basic makeup, here are some of my suggestions:

They also have products from Maybelline with ongoing promos and discounts.

See there is really no more excuse in not looking pretty or beautiful even on our busiest days, because of the convenience of online shopping. So the next time you'll be needing your beauty fix or replenishing your make up basics, better check Ensogo Philippines for the best deals in the Metro!;)

Also, use my code for more discounts until November 17!;)

Blogapalooza: The Second Time Around

Last October 25, bloggers and business came together at One Esplanade to connect, and collaborate together. It was my second time going and I was really looking forward to it. I'd say I was more prepared and equipped this year which made my stay more enjoyable and informative.

I went to the event this year with my good friend Lally Gonzales of www.lallysreflections.com and with a new found blogger friend Mommy Lei of www.eislei.com. We arrived after lunch as we attended Rackell of www.mylittleworld.com's daughter's baptism. It was a busy Sunday but it was worth it.

This year's them is about #ResponsibleMedia and how bloggers and brands can be mediums of positive and principled journalism. I know some will not agree that blogging is journalism but I think looking at the blogging world as such makes bloggers become more accountable for their action, words, and blog. It is about time that bloggers use their power to connect, collaborate, and empower each other not only as bloggers but as media persons. I learned alot about responsible media by listening to the talks and how I cam be a promote positive and responsible blogging.

Anyway, here are some stories on what happened during the event. Upon entering the venue we were welcomed by the I Am cardboard Ph booth. Really had fun trying out their product and I'd actually suggest it to some friends who are getting married. I think it will be such a great souvenir.

Chips Delight booth was also such a delight to see. They have a christmas themed area where they showcased their products. Got myself some cookies too!;)

Victoria Court was there and we played games but unfortunately I did not win anything. Haha!;)

Here are the other booth and companies I got to interact with and played some fun games in.

Got to take home these freebies too!

Thank you, Blogapalooza 2015 for having me in your awesome event. Got to learn more about blogging and collaborating with brands that may help me with my mission as a blogger. Thanks also as I have met wonderful bloggers in the event! Till next year!;)
